I've never seen or heard of a pleated exterior.. pictures? Hope this was a case of buyers remorse and not something serious, seems you just got this trailer.

I saw one of these at the last Camp Inn / Outt. Maybe even this one. Loved the pleated look. Only 3 made. Talked to Marty about it yesterday when we picked up our 560. He said it looks great but was a nightmare to make. Thus only 3 made. Also if you want a sun roof, these are no longer offered since we ordered ours last year. With all the extra she is offering. Seems like a good deal.

But this is number 651, was that one of the special ones as well?

Is that a Stainless Steel exterior like #500?

#500 is not one of the three production units with pleated skins. Only #500 is the SS version. Val and Krista's unit was not a special unit like #500 just one with a limited production option that we no longer offer.

We tried a few times trying to resolve the manufacturing issues of building one with pleated skins. We just do not have them solved yet so have no plans to do them again at this time.

Jean, This would have been the unit you saw at the Camp-Outt, Val was camped a short ways from you.

Val and Krista are dealing with a long term family member health issue and are having to make some life changes. This is the reason for the sale, they are very heart broken to have to put it for sale.

I really like this trailer and I wish CI would make the "pleated" look an option. I wonder why it was so much more labor to make maybe it is Stainless?

We like the look too and really wish we could perfect the process. On the three limited production units they are aluminum like the rest of our trailers, though a thinner aluminum.

It is difficult because of the shape of the metal along the edges with the pleating and because of our system of aluminum extrusions used to assemble the camper. The pleats just do not play well with the existing design of our campers very well during assembly. They are perfectly fine once completed.

Thank you all for your support. This was NOT a case of buyers remorse. Sold Only to take care of elderly parent. We were very luck to have her, if only for a while.

She SOLD today to a lovely couple who will love her as much as we did.
