Hello to all from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We are Don & Janet Gilmore. We own #258, a 2008 550 Ultra.

We have used the teardrop for a week long trip to the UP of Michigan and many weekend local trips. We are planning a two week Fall trip to Southern Utah for early September 2010.

Hi. Don't know how far you are from the Adirondacks, but there is a teardrop event there in June. I found out from the site http://www.mikenchell.com/forums/ which is the Teardrops and Tiny Travel Trailers site. I belong to the Jefferson State Teardroppers and we do, as I'm sure the NE club does, regular camps close to home, week end things. Sounded like you didn't get your tear out often enough.

    Welcome, Don & Janet.

We were in southern Utah (St. George) two summers ago - beautiful city and area. If you haven't made plans already, you absolutely MUST visit Zion Canyon National Park - it's like a mini-grand canyon. The iMax theater in the Visitor Center is also worth going to.

    Hi Don and Janet,
My two cents: I agree with Evan, St George,UT is one of my favorite places in the country. Along with Zion, do not miss Bryce Canyon National Park and Kodachrome Basin State Park.

Hi Don and Janet - Welcome,
We live on the other side of the state but get to Pittsburgh several times a year, as our oldest son goes to Pitt.

Have you ever camped at Ohiopyle state park? We are planning our trip to pick up our 560 in May and intend on camping our way home. Ohiopyle is just a bit off our route, but looks like it might be a worthwile stop-over?

    Bob,

We haven't been to Ohio Pyle in a number of years. I have never been to the campground so no help there.

The park is very scenic and the whitewater rafting is good depending on the water level.
