kewl, I'll have to check the calendar, but I think I'm ok. Have to go FROM there to the Balloonie=Loonies in NM right afterwards... so should be ok, will check when I get back tomorrow...

Yep, should be good to go, figuring 2 days from Seattle to get there, Hmm... maybe 3 is better...

  3. We usually go up on Wednesday night or Thursday morning. Depends on that darn thing called "work" and what's going on if we can get away early.

If I can get Thursday off, I will probably come out Wednesday evening. This year is unique in that the CICO is Thursday - Sunday rather than Friday - Sunday. In 2014, it will go back to being Friday - Sunday again.

Used to be we were able to get settled & set up before people started arriving. Not so much anymore. Ours is the only gathering I've been to where that seems to happen. :D

LOL...I seriously doubt that! Problem is, we all have day jobs in order to keep this thing going, so no hope of being there earlier. ;) ;) Kind of a catch 22 thing.

Probably on Wednesday night but it will depend on what's happening with the day job. We try to keep that one under wraps...gotta know the secret password & handshake... ;) ;) But then again, it may be on the upcoming schedule of events! Maybe we should sell tickets!

Easy to arrive early for a variety of reasons: first those who arrive early enjoy additional time with teardrop friends, park is available for our use, no need to make reservations late September.

About those day jobs, Betsey - If Craig could just get one that was less demanding, he'd have more time for things like the CICO... :)

Oh, I know it's easy for those who are coming to camp for the weekend. I'm looking at it from the opposite perspective of getting things set up & settled. :)

Yep, no need for reservations because the park closes for the season after Labor Day & they don't take reservations after that. ;) However, in order to get the reduced rate, you have to let me know you are attending. Otherwise, you are charged the full rate.

Yeah, & then I wouldn't need to work, so I would have more time for things like the CICO, too! ;)

Betsey, I am retiring at the end of the school year, JUST so I can be up at the CICO early this year to lend a hand! Actually both are true, my retirement does make it a lot easier to get up there a few days early to help out, chat with folks, and relax even a little more. Bob and I always have a great time!

We'll be there early, too...well, Thursday that is. Sorta early. We want more time to lollygag.

Oh, yeah and we can help out too! Need any zip-lock bags for omelets?
