Itinerary 3rd Annual Nw Camp-inn Round Up

Discussion in 'Gatherings' started by slumry, Nov 11, 2012.

  1. Thanks Sarah.

Kathy: I've never been to Washington, so my hope would be to make it a 2-3 week vacation, allowing plenty of time to see other sites in the great NW! Once (and IF) I know it's going to happen, I'll bug you and others some more for ideas on what all to see and do.

Will be happy to, Rick. For starters, visit our state tourism site: www.experiencewa.com

Since I still use film, I can come up with hundreds if not thousands of film canisters, unless I threw away a few shopping bags full of canisters. I will rummage around the dungeon and see if they are still there.

I bet I can get Mick to find a big piece of metal, and he is a master at scrounging the internets for fun things like magnets in bulk packaging. I'll see what I can do on that end! Woohoo! This is gong to be fun! The kids are going to love it! And so will the 5 & 8 year olds! :)

I have found 125 usable film canisters. Apparently, I must have given the bulk of my stash to my film lab. They hand them out to the arts and crafts community, especially those doing projects with kids.

    Heheh... Howdy Wendy,
Forums are a little tricky, but just take it one step at a time.

There are probably other ways, but I just come to the website, click on "Active Topics" then last 24-hrs or longer if I haven't checked in.
    Then just REPLY.

Evan is the Master, you can PM him if you need more or look in the
Main "Forum" section for How2s... fun, you'll get it, just takes a little time...

Would suggest starting over in the Welcome
Meet & Greet (registered users only)
New folks: Please say hello, and tell us about yourself "

Area and introduce yourself, I don't know if you have a TD yet or not.. so that might help to clarify...

    fun...

Hi, Wendy - welcome to the forum.
That would be great if it works for you to be at Mossyrock!

  13. I made my best sales pitch to the family (Wife Becca and two youngest daughters who still live at home) about attending Mossyrock and combining it with a multi-week vacation to the Pacific North West area. I received a good response! Still haven't figured out the details, or how in the Hell I will fit three adults and one 9-year old into the Raindrop, (I'm guessing it will involve me sleeping in one of my backpack tents.) But at any rate, I believe I can make a "soft commitment" to attending!

Great news, Rick. Would be so neat to have all of you join us. We PNW'ers tend to be big boosters of our part of the country, so will be happy to offer advice, suggestions, etc. Kathy

Bear, it will be good to meet you face to face! Hope you do make it!

It was the promise of exploding film canisters, wasn't it? You couldn't resist, right? :)

    Rick,

As several have stated... please let us know when you start planning the time in the PNW.. there is soooo much to see, mountains, deserts, volcanos, old growth forests, pristine shoreline wilderness...

More than happy to suggest spots...

Frank can give you the underwater and waters edge guide as well.
