I'm Mike and Carol is the copilot (or was when we had a MH). We're enjoying the forum as we plan our purchase of a Camp Inn. Hopefully this will happen sometime this summer and we'll be able to meet all you forum members at a TD function somewhere.

Hi, Mike and Carol! Welcome. My aunt and uncle, Matt and Lillian Simons live in The Villages. They were visiting my parents in Alabama when we drove up with our teardrop. So, if you happen to know them, or want to look them up (they live on Margarita Dr.), they can tell you what they thought.

We wondered how long it would take for someone to pop up knowing someone from the Villages. An hour and a half was pretty fast. Just took a look at the map and they are closer to the first square and we are closer to the second square. Small world.

Welcome Mike and Carol! Ditto on what everyone else said--Ivan and I found all of the posts on options / accessories helpful while we were going back and forth during the ordering process. We don't have too many nights under our belt, but we love ours so far! This is a good group and it's a great place to get answers to questions, so ask away!

Hmmm, the Villages… so what does your golf cart look like?

 

What's the tow rating on that there golf cart?

 

Hmmm, good question. You must have seen The Villages commercial! Actually we have two golf carts and one car. Fortunately it's a SUV (Pilot) or we would have to get a really small TD that the golf cart could pull!! I'll put a picture of the golf carts as a place holder until I have a CI to show everyone.

 

I dunno... I think I could get a TD started (this is flat FL afterall) but stopping it would be a whole new matter!

 

Yeah, we like the little roadster with the rumble seat.

 

Just got great news! the Crab Pot is finished! We'll pick it up next month just before CICO and we can't wait. Many thanks to Cary, Betsey, Craig and all our fellow Forum contributors who helped guide us through the process. Can't wait to meet y'all "on the road" somewhere.
