    All,
I am Steve and the better half is Ellen. We have a 550. If you visit Camp Inns web site and see the addition of the Handicap bars on the 550, that ours. My wife suffers from spinal cord damage and this camper is perfect for her. When we saw one locally, middle-TN, she just fell in love with it. My goal was to get off the ground when I hunt. Now I watch TV have a water tank and propane built in and an AC. None of which are necessary for hunting, but, now we are planning trips together for the summer and I am planning some for me when I hunt. I have always enjoyed the unique...That's what we got in this camper.
I have never posted on any web site...But hey until last fall I never had a 550. I found the company off the web and thought it looked like one of the best made. I still feel good about it. We have to keep it clean when we are in a camp site. People always want to see inside. later....Steve

    Welcome Steve and Ellen!

I saw the handicap bars - those are ingenious. Leave it to the folks at Camp-Inn to come up with solutions like that!

Congrats on posting on the web for the first time - hopefully the first of many. You are right about the quality of the build - we are also very happy with ours. So far we haven't had a chance to camp in anything but winter, so haven't started running into lots of folks yet - but we've been told to expect lots of visitors.

Anyhow, thanks for joining - and please post any questions, tips, stories or pictures as they come up!

Yeah, keep your doors locked when you're in it. You don't know who might open it up to have a look inside. "Do you sleep in it?" could easily be answered then.

I've had that happen. some one opened the door when I was taking a nap. They didn't even say "sorry". Its the price we pay for having something this beautiful.

When we went to view one from an owner in Missouri he told us that that is a real problem. He said to always be sure you're dressed when you get up cause people will be standing right beside it with a cup of coffee just staring at it. One day he opened the door and there a guy was about 2 ft. away just admiring it. Nice but a bit "in my space. He said someone had a open/closed sign and would put it out when the drove into a campsite with the closed sign out. Once they got set up and ready to visit they would put the open sign out! Sounds like a plan. Anyone else out there have this problem? And if so, how did you resolve it?
