Kris and I are both retired health care professionals who enjoy gardening, camping, fishing, boating, and flying.
I am mechanically minded, enjoy the learning process gained by DIY projects, so do my own repairs on the CI, and most other things. I also enjoy seeing problem solving ideas others have come up with, then adapting them to fit our needs. This forum has been a treasure trove of such ideas, and we have enjoyed both getting some of our DIY ideas here, as well as passing on some of the the ones we've used or modified to fit our needs.
I built a GlaStar experimental airplane over an 8.5 year period while I was still working full time. It was finished in late 2007, and we now have over 1000 hrs of flying time in it.
