560- Where Do You Store The Kid Catcher When In Sofa Mode?

Discussion in 'Tips & Tricks' started by Andrew Cushingham, Oct 3, 2020.

  1. I might’ve overlooked this during the orientation but when setting up a 560 in sofa mode, is there a particular place for the top bunk kid catcher to be stored?

We keep ours under the mattress at the foot end of the bed. Campinn folk recommend always keeping it in the trailer to keep it from being stored somewhere (like an attic) and forgotten.

    Andrew,
I’m glad that you asked. I was wondering the samething.

No small kids, no need for the catcher.

If not being used the ideal place is where Chuckwagon describes. If being used it should go under the seat cushion of the sofa. It should not go under the sofa itself, that prevents the sofa from collapsing down flat at night.

  6. When I set ours up in sofa mode, I usually store the kid catcher behind the office furniture we’ve got set up in the living area. It keeps it out of the way and easy to access when we need it. I totally missed this detail during our orientation as well, so you're not alone! Has anyone else found a clever spot for theirs? Our High Gloss Computer Desks in the office are sleek but don't exactly blend in with camper aesthetics, so I'm curious if anyone has found a more integrated storage solution. Always looking for better ways to organize our space.
